Children applying for: Pre-Kindergarten must be 4 years old before September 1 Kindergarten must be 5 years old before September 1 Grade One must be 6 years old before September 1 All new pupils must present birth, baptismal and immunization records. We attest the readiness of a student to be capable for the work of a given grade by testing and by reviewing the academic records of the previous school. Our Non-Discrimination Policy: St. Bernard's Elementary School, in accepting students, follows a policy of non-discrimination on the basis of race, sex, national origin, age (in accordance with the laws of Massachusetts), and with reasonable accommodations, any handicapping conditions. However our school does give enrollment preference to children of St. Bernard's Parish, to siblings of students in attendance, and to other students in that order.
